About Heather

Hello! Here's a little background on me: I'm Puerto Rican, French, Finnish and Norwegian. Ever since I was a child I have always been athletic and competitive in nature. Growing up in Orange County, California, I participated in ballet, tap dancing, cross-country, track & field and various other school/recreational sports. In my early adult years I also was a Defensive End for the Los Angeles Lasers, a womens professional tackle football team. I have a teenage daughter and a preteen stepdaughter. It’s important to me and my husband that we make sure our children are active just like we were as kids. It leads to great experiences and learning in life, and builds a well-rounded individual. After being in the corporate world for over 10 years, all the while training for various road races, century rides and triathlons, I realized there was still something missing from my life. That's when I made the decision to take my love for fitness into my career.
