About Me:
I love health and fitness. I enjoy figure and bodybuilding competitions. I placed 2nd in the Miss Figure Goddess competition in March 2008. I am also a Reiki Master, which is a Japanese healing modality which uses the body's energy channels to bring balance to the body, mind and soul. when the body is balanced it will respond better to one's fitness goals and life as a whole. I enjoy learning new things and I am always studying. On my free time I like to read and knit. I donate my knitted scarves to the shelters for battered women. I am very patient and understanding with my clients own unique goals, strengths and weaknesses. Everybody is different and their bodies will react different as well.

I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and physical therapy student. I am also a NASM Certified Personal trainer and competitive bodybuilder. I have been training clients for over 9 years. I have trained all types of folks from beginning a work out routine to advanced athletic clientele. I have worked with people engaged in physical therapy and sports orthopedic rehab. Growing up with four brothers & four sisters, one will find their niche to succeed & standout amongst the rest-mine is exercise & personal training. My educational background is extensive, as is my personal training experience. Exercise, whether it be weightlifting, running, spin class, or samba, should be approached as a vital part of life where your day is incomplete prior to completion. The time you put in the gym is an investment with dividends & returns that can reach the stars. No one can ever say that "I don't have enough time", "it's too late ", or "I'm too old", because once you admit that or other plausible excuses, you've already given up before you started. I have been a participant and trainer in weightlifting, martial arts, powerlifting and general fitness for over 30 years. I have trained a greatly diversified group of people of all ages, ranging from competitive athletes and martial artists to the average sedentary individual who is looking for a life change through exercise. I have helped many regain strength following injury; I became focused on this aspect of training when I took charge of rehabilitating myself after a serious leg injury 23 years ago.. Fitness is a life long study and practice for me, which I enjoy sharing immensely.
