About Me:
My name is Misty and I am a mother of a very active 2 year old and a wife of my wonderful husband Aaron of 4 years. When Im not staying at home with my son or hanging out with my husband I am training or teaching fitness classes. I am a strong believer that exercising and eating right helps people and families be much happier and stronger!!
On a more personal note, I understand what it takes to lose weight, gain muscle, and keep the weight off. After all I did it 2 times! The first time was 8 years ago, when I gained 60 pounds. I looked in the mirror one day and realized how over weight I was. I then went on a 2 or 3 year struggle with losing weight and trying to keep it off. And I did it!!! I lost all 60 pounds!!! All on my own with eating right and exercising. The second time was 2 years ago after I had my son. I had 50 pounds to lose after him. I did the exact same plan as the first time. I lost it and I have kept it off. Now I am here to help others reach their goal.

I have a B.S. in Kinesiology and worked for the YMCA in Dallas for 15 years as a Fitness Coordinator and Wellness Director. The YMCA holds a special place in my heart. It was my second family... I met a lot of good people there and made some life long friends who helped mold me into the person I am today.
