Hi, I'm Portia Page. I am a Master Pilates Trainer and Faculty Member for Balanced Body University. I train and certify people to become Pilates instructors in the US, SE Asia & Micronesia and am a Pilates and fitness trainer in Southern California. I have been teaching all types of fitness since 1992 and have traveled the world helping people reach their fitness and personal goals. Whether your goal is to run a marathon, or you are coming back into the fitness world after injuring yourself, or you are a weekend warrior looking for that additional "edge", or you are just starting to exercise, or even if you want to maintain our current fitness level...I can help you! Now, I specialize in mind body classes and private sessions that focus on posture, core strength & general well being. About Me:
What makes me so into exercise and fitness? How about my own experience; Sports brought me into the fitness world. I used to be a professional badminton and basketball player. In those days, I trained 6 hours a day to become a more skillful player but after a severe injury from a game, I quit my career in sports. That didn’t stop me. Instead, I started to focus on finding out the right way to exercise.
I got my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in California State University Northridge and I’m an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer as well. I have experience in training with a diverse population, such as people with disability (heatstroke, cerebral palsy, and multiple sclerosis patients), overweight, obese, high school basketball players and swimmers. Therefore, I am very knowledgeable about training people with different conditions. I’m looking forward to train you and help you change your life!

About Me:
I'm a figure competitor and celebrity trainer. I am very passionate about fitness and and overall healthy lifestyle. You can call me my own success story... born premature, I was battling poor health and bone loss at a very early age. I saw a specialist who said that I must weight train or I would experience osteoporosis by 30. Hesitantly I started working out with weights. Results started showing very quickly and I became a new person! In 2006 I started competing in figure competitions and won the Ms. Figure America. Since I had experienced results in this way, I wanted to help others like I've been helped. I studied vigorously and read literally 100’s of books on the subject of training and nutrition. It certainly helped that earlier in life I attained a Medical/Dental degree. I eventually attained my certification from the International Sports and Science Association, and I now can and WILL help as many people who are willing to commit to looking and feeling their best!

About Me:
I am a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. I studied Exercise Biology at Wright State University. I have been a personal trainer for 2 years with previous experience as an athlete in baseball, basketball, and soccer. I am also a Wellness Specialist for an assisted living facility. My goal and philosophy as a trainer is to show my clients that they can do things they didn't think were possible. Through this philosophy, I educate clients in order to make them comfortable and knowledgable in their workout routine. I expect clients to work hard and prove their dedication to themselves and be accountable for their development. A trainer can give you a workout, but it is you the client that performs the workout. I can help you lose weight, get strong, build muscle, and most importantly develop a healthy lifestyle. I will make sure that my clients get the best workout and advice they possibly can.
