INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy describes how FitOrbit.com ('FitOrbit,' 'us' or 'we') will collect and use your information when you visit our FitOrbit.com website (the “Site”).

We're not responsible for the privacy practices of web sites operated by third parties that are linked to or integrated with our Site. Once you've left our Site via such a link, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party to determine its privacy practices.

INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

Generally. When you register or subscribe to our services, we may collect personal information that can identify you (“PII”) such as your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number. We also may collect PII from you when you contact us or participate in activities like: forums; message boards; chats; creating a profile; rating, tagging and commenting on articles; or completing surveys.

We do not, however, knowingly collect PII from children under the age of thirteen.

We collect non PII such as IP addresses and web site usage information from you.

Fitness Plan Subscribers. When you register, in addition to all PII listed above, we may ask for health related information that our trainers will need to know about when designing your fitness plans. When you use our Service, we provide, and you consent to provide us, your health related information. You also consent to allow us to provide this information to third parties including without limitation any trainers.

Trainers. When you register, in addition to all PII listed above, we may ask for information regarding your qualifications in designing your fitness plans.

Cookies. We use cookies and other technologies to collect information. Cookies are small bits of information that our web sites place on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to, among other things, facilitate our login processes; allow you to personalize and store your settings; collect usage information; determine our total audience size and traffic; and help us improve our sites by measuring which areas are of greatest interest to users.

You can set the browser on your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, block third party cookies or block all cookies. However, by blocking all cookies you may not have access to certain features on our Site.

SUBSCRIBERS: IF YOU ELECT TO MAKE YOUR PROFILE VIEWABLE BY TRAINERS, ALL INFORMATION (INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION) THAT YOU INCLUDE IN YOUR PROFILE MAY BE VIEWED BY TRAINERS. YOU SHOULD NOT ENTER ANY INFORMATION IN YOUR PROIFLE THAT YOU WISH TO REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL.

TRAINERS: YOUR PROFILE WILL BE VIEWABLE BY VISITORS TO THE SITE. ALL INFORMATION (INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION) THAT YOU INCLUDE IN YOUR PROFILE MAY BE VIEWED BY VISITORS. YOU SHOULD NOT ENTER ANY INFORMATION IN YOUR PROIFLE THAT YOU WISH TO REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL.

We do not screen the credentials of Trainers before allowing them to register in our database. FitOrbit is not responsible for the retention, use or privacy practices of Trainers after they have received your information.

CHOICES ABOUT THE USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

If you do not want to receive marketing from us about FitOrbit and its affiliates products and services, you should not give us his or her email.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION

If you have an online account with us, you have the ability to review and update your personal information online by visiting the account management section on our Site. You can also review and update your personal information by contacting us at the email address provided below in the “How to contact us” section of this privacy policy.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard PII in our possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification.

TRANSFER TO U.S. OR OTHER COUNTRIES

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where FitOrbit has facilities, and by subscribing to our services and/or using our Site you consent to the transfer of information outside of your country.

From time to time FitOrbit may revise this Privacy Policy. If we make revisions that change the way we collect or use your PII, those changes will be posted in this Privacy Policy and the effective date will be noted at the beginning of the Policy.
